Long weekends and bridge days in Rwanda
A long weekend is three or more days off in a row made by a nationwide holiday and the weekend. A bridge day is a working day with a day off on both sides: one leave day there joins a holiday to the weekend, or two holidays to each other.

- Friday 1 January to Sunday 3 January 2027: 3 days off, with New Year's Day.
- Saturday 30 January to Monday 1 February 2027: 3 days off, with National Heroes' Day.
- Friday 26 March to Monday 29 March 2027: 4 days off, with Good Friday, Easter Monday.
- Friday 6 August to Sunday 8 August 2027: 3 days off, with Umuganura Day.
Bridge days (1)
- Friday 2 July: one leave day gives 4 days off in a row, Thursday 1 July to Sunday 4 July 2027 (next to Independence Day).
Regional holidays are left out of both lists: they depend on where the employee works.
