Long weekends and bridge days in Portugal
A long weekend is three or more days off in a row made by a nationwide holiday and the weekend. A bridge day is a working day with a day off on both sides: one leave day there joins a holiday to the weekend, or two holidays to each other.

- Friday 1 January to Sunday 3 January 2027: 3 days off, with New Year's Day.
- Friday 26 March to Sunday 28 March 2027: 3 days off, with Good Friday.
- Saturday 30 October to Monday 1 November 2027: 3 days off, with All Saints Day.
Bridge days (3)
- Friday 28 May: one leave day gives 4 days off in a row, Thursday 27 May to Sunday 30 May 2027 (next to Corpus Christi).
- Friday 11 June: one leave day gives 4 days off in a row, Thursday 10 June to Sunday 13 June 2027 (next to National Day).
- Monday 4 October: one leave day gives 4 days off in a row, Saturday 2 October to Tuesday 5 October 2027 (next to Republic Day).
